Obsidian Oil is distributed by Moore Lubricants. The range was developed for workshops that need current manufacturer specifications without the price premium attached to the household names.
Stock held, not ordered in
We hold stock rather than ordering in against each enquiry, which means the grades you rely on are available when you need them. Every batch is packed to the same specification, in packaging designed to sit properly on a workshop shelf.
Lead times are measured in days rather than weeks, and the range is deliberately short so that what we do carry, we carry in depth.

Specification first, then price
There is no shortage of cheap oil. What is harder to find is a product that meets current manufacturer requirements, arrives when it is promised and still leaves a workshop with a sensible margin.
Current performance levels
Formulated to ACEA C3 and API SP rather than reworked from an older specification.
Low SAPS throughout
Reduced sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur across the whole range, protecting the particulate filter and catalyst.
UK stock, short lead times
Stock is warehoused in the United Kingdom, so lead times are measured in days rather than weeks.
Honest trade pricing
Barrel pricing well below the major brands at the same performance level, with standing prices for regular accounts.
